The Origin Story

For a long time, I knew I wanted to start my own business. I've always loved the idea of being my own boss. I almost started one back in 2016 but instead I got cancer - and beat it. That really put my life into perspective and I started my journey into discovering what I wanted to do in life. I tried a bit of everything but nothing stuck. 2020 was the year that changed everything. Out of work and out of ideas to keep my sanity. I picked up jewelry making and journaling as hobbies. Soon after, I launched my handmade jewelry collection and found a passion for it. Unfortunately, it came to an abrupt halt soon after launching. Fast forward to 2021, I am re-launching my boutique and converting my passion for journaling into blogging. I choose the name "PositivelyKatyMade" because positivity is who I am to the core and what I always try to spread onto others. So, Hi my name is Katy. I am just a girl who battled cancer 5 years ago and won. Follow me on my journey through life and making jewelry pieces dear to my heart.
